Studio managers, facility managers, operations leads, closing staff, technical managers, security teams, and department leads should use this checklist before the last authorised person leaves the facility.

Records to Keep

Keep the closing date, closing lead, final exit time, remaining occupants, room restrictions, equipment status, systems left running, security faults, maintenance issues, assigned actions, and alarm confirmation.

Final Readiness Check

The studio facility is ready to close when:

✓ All bookings and occupants are accounted for
✓ Room statuses and restrictions are recorded
✓ Equipment and inventory are secured
✓ Shared areas are clean and safe
✓ Unneeded systems are shut down
✓ Overnight systems are documented
✓ Doors, windows, and loading areas are secure
✓ Fire and emergency routes are clear
✓ Faults have owners and controls
✓ Contractors and deliveries are accounted for
✓ The final walkthrough is complete
✓ The alarm and final exit are recorded

Keep Facility Closing Consistent

Use the same closing process after normal operations, late sessions, weekend bookings, overnight work, events, maintenance periods, and restricted operating days.
